Double Running® was created by running visionary and Runner's World magazine founder Bob Anderson. This new sport and new challenge with its strategic endurance twist is unique to the running world. The title event is the Double Road Race 15k. It's a 10k followed by a 5k with a break in between featuring the Recovery Zone. Other distances include the Half-Marathon Double 13.1M (10M+5k), Double 8K (5k+3k), Double 5k (3k+2k), Kids Double 1.5m (1m+1/2m), Sprint Double 1.5m (1m+1/2m) and the Double Hike. Great people, great fun...but way too long to wait for awards to finish. We were in PG for a total of 5 HOURS, which is nice, but the sun was waiting for us in Santa Cruz.
