Double Road Race 15k Challenge - Ujena 5k Double Run/Walk - Bob Anderson's Kids Cup Double 1.5m

Sign up today and Save up to $21

The Double Road Race is one race with two legs. You first run the 10k leg and then one hour and 45 minutes later the 5k leg starts. Times from the two legs are combined for scoring. If you are not ready to DO THE DOUBLE, then join us for the Ujena 5k Double Run/Walk. Bring the kids (13 and under) for the Bob Anderson's Kids Cup Double 1.5m.

The San Juan Bautista Double will start on the historic main street and finish in front of the Mission San Juan Bautista.

The Recovery Zone will be situated in the large grassy area in front of the historic mission where Spanish soldiers and Native Americans camped in the 1800s.  Two bands and one DJ will keep us entertained from 7:00am to 1pm.  Enjoy our farmer's market and let the kids have fun playing games on the grass.

The garlic and artichoke mecca of the country, this area provides a grand tour into California’s earliest historical beginnings, which means there is so much to experience in and around this Double, which surely ranks as one of the most unique runs in the country

"The Double Road Race® is the only running event with a halftime (photo left). Run 10K first, rest and relax for about an hour, then run 5K," says Bob Anderson, who created the new sport Double Road Racing, and founded Runner's World magazine.

"We have really cool shirts (above), double-sided finishing medals for all Double finishers (right), large medals to the top five in each age group, and $3,000 of cash prizes, plus special prizes for the Ujena 5k Double and Kids Cup Double 1.5 races." San Juan Bautista race director Daniel Lowell

"If you are not ready to 'Do The Double,' you can run or walk the Ujena 5k Double Run/Walk and brings the kids for the Bob Anderson's Kids Cup Double. All kids get a medal, and this all benefits youth running," says Race Director Daniel Lowell.

Bob Anderson's Kids Cup Double 1.5m - (for kids 13 and under) everyone gets a t-shirt, tote bag and all finishers a medal. Trophy for first boy and first girl.  Special medal for winner of each age 4-13.

Bring the family and enjoy music by Sweet Hayah and food from 20 local vendors in an outdoor Farmer's Market style event - part of the Double Road Race weekend celebration.
